Guy Thomas (born 30 August 1977) is a New Zealand equestrian. His speciality is show jumping, either individually or as part of a team. == Personal life == Guy Thomas was born 30 August 1977 in Burson, California, the son of Graeme "Butch" Thomas and Lu Thomas, both former international riders.〔Guy Thomas Facebook Page () Retrieved 18 August 2013.〕 Guy Thomas grew up in a riding family. His parents, Graeme "Butch" and Lu Thomas, are highly successful riders and trainers, both having competed in the FEI World Cup Finals. Guy was a natural rider from the time he started riding at the age of two and a half. During his upbringing, rather than exerting pressure to join the family business, his parents pledged their support for whatever life path Guy ultimately chose to pursue.〔 〕 Growing up, Guy played on school football and basketball teams in addition to riding and showing. It was as a junior in high school that he made the commitment to the family business. Looking to advance from the junior varsity to the varsity football team, his coaches gave him an ultimatum, either significantly reduce the amount of time he spent riding and going to horse shows, or he would never make the varsity football team. He turned in his football uniform and has never looked back. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Guy Thomas」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
